Albeit not as bad, I’m still Shaking

I stopped Thorazine and I stopped having my head jerk/bob back and forth

However I’m still shaking. Believe it’s due to abilify. Because I skipped the night dose last night I was shaking so badly. And now I’m not shaking. Turns out taking 20 mg abilify was doing more harm than good. I’ve felt so much better in terms of anxiety/akathesia since splitting my abilify to ten mg morning ten mg night.

However this TD?? Issue is killing me.

It’s Labor Day so I doubt I can talk to the doctor today.

However I want a new antipsychotic med now

I’m thinking of asking to try for geoden, rexulti or vraylar. Whichever causes the least side effects.

Don’t know if I should take my abilify today or what.

If it’s causing me TD. But it also helps me not have psychosis

Oh lord help me.

You just need a lower dose and hope that psychosis don’t come back, a different med can’t help much

Go ahead and take the abilifyy until you talk to your doc. If it helps positive symptoms. There’s meds for TD that can help without needing a new AP.

Abilify gave me td, Rexulti doesn’t. It took a while to completely go away, but the worst of it stopped right away (my hands) My pursing was minor, basically a trained psychiatrist noticed it but it didn’t really seem to be that obvious to anybody else. I could feel myself doing it. It went away slowly over I would say a year or so.
