I think i also had this with abilify. I couldnt sleep at all at night and i had severe restlessness

Benztropine is good for akathisia sometimes… but sometimes it doesn’t touch it. Propranalol might be a blood pressure pill but it’s also used for akathisia just like Welbutrin is used as a smoking cessation aid, secondary uses are just as valid as primary ones.
My solution was reducing my antipsychotic dosage (together with doctor) until it stopped. I know that’s not an option for everyone.
I had severe akathisia on Ziprasidone(Geodon, Zeldox) and Clopixol and Seroquel nevet caused that problem in the slidest degree. So now I can sit down the hole day because I got rid of Geodon (Rat poison to me. Blessing to other people who can tolerate it)
