hey quick question @77nick77, social security is ceasing my monthly ssdi checks after 9 months employment over the wage threshold. I remember you saying that you can get the trial work period extended. how were you able to do this? would love to keep ssdi a bit longer while working…

I don’t remember, it was a long time ago. I suggest calling up Social Security and asking this question.
Here’s the national number: 1-800-772-1213. Or you could call up your local Social Security office and set up an appointment and talk to a worker who might (probably) be able to help you. OR… go on the social Security website and you might find the answer. Sorry, I wish I could help more but…
