After valentines day I’m hoping to be able to save some money. My partner is ready to get her taxes so she can file bankruptcy. I think a car is more important and getting her permit back. If her parents didn’t ask for money all the time we could have money.

I think there’s a pattern there. Your inlaws ask for a lot and I’m not sure your winning in that circumstance.
I have wonderful family who help you when you need it. I’m not sure your in the same place but you have to make these decisions along with your partner!
Hope you sort it all out and get to a place where there’s less stress and you can look after the animals and enjoy life a bit more!
