Like, really,
So many years I didn’t knew I had a neurodevelopmental disorder.
I just felt differently. Like, too often bored, always in a hurry and forgetting little things. Also messy, talkative and easy distracted.
Maybe most of you will disagree here with me… but I personally believe meds for ADHD are not always crucial.
In my case- I graduated from school, then college - without meds. I also managed to work for three first months without meds.
Maybe meds do help in some way, though I am still a believer that they’re not a must thing in many cases.
Overall, I don’t get what ADHD means for me, yet. It’s not as huge as autism (what i mean it does not affect life so much), is very different from psychosis, and overall I wouldn’t call it disorder.
Maybe in those truly bad cases it is a disorder. But in my case it’s rather hyperactivity. Also something like a very negative trait.
Overall… it’s quite sad that everything which is a bit out of ‘normal’ is called a disorder.
Just sharing thoughts.

I can survive without meds if I drink 800mgs of coffee per day. But its pretty mediocre. The meds work way better than caffeine. I have the combined adhd which is both inattentive and hyperactive.
Meds are only part of the equation tho, you gotta put the work in to benefit from it.
If i had been properly treated my small business years ago would probably of been triple the size.
But im glad im working on it now.
