So little Niece finally out of hospital after a long stint in the icu/special care unit.
Today dad and I went down and saw the kids with new bub. I got a nurse and little Poppy threw up on my pullover! Haha. Still so cute and so little. She was 7 weeks premature!
It’s tough to watch little relatives have big problems. I remember when my niece had kidney cancer. There were many horrors about her recovery including her recovering from the toxic effects of chemotherapy in time for the next treatment which would make her weak again, a time she caught a virus and had to be rushed to the hospital and the rapid loss of her beautiful hair. I’ll always remember two pictures. One of her being sick and all and another of her having her hair back (although a different color), smiling, and mainly back. I hope you see a lot of your niece like I saw mine before she moved on and had a family. My healthy, and beautiful Grand niece is proof of her triumph over cancer.
awe @Blizzard yeah we’ll be in touch. We lost our mum late last year and she was a rock. My little niece won’t know a wonderful grandma but she’ll know a good grandpa and Uncles because we’ll all be there!
