I forgot what happiness feels like.
Having responsibilities, fears and regrets runs counter to my idea of happiness. I have all 3.
Suddenly inheriting a fortune would instantly brush aside many responsibilities, but some fears and regrets would still linger.
Meeting an awesome person who appreciates me back would entail more responsibilities (toward them and myself) and fears of losing them or messing up.
Can I be a child again?
