Luck works both ways, and usually is relative to perspective, imo.
A man hit by lightning. Is he unlucky that it happened? Or is he lucky to be alive?

I buy a lottery ticket two or three times a year, my excuse to do such a stupid thing is to nurture my daydreaming, buying a new apartment and a summer cabin etc.
I know im never going to win, of course. But what if!
