I get what you mean with this poem, I guess there’s different definitions of reality but one I like is that reality is basically nothingness. Our thoughts and feeling is not reality. Reality is when you remove all concepts. In that view, when you’re ignoring your problems you’re actually closer to reality, because your problems are not reality, they are just thoughts, which holds no weight and are just concepts. Sorry for the rambling.
