A Poem: My invisible memo

Featureless, unblinking
they won’t even notice
my invisible memo.
I stuck it on a pinboard;
it sat there for days
‘till it lay down and died
like a wastepaper life-support patient
living comatose and held
in suspension.

Reminds me of being turned away from hospital because I wasn’t ‘psychotic enough’, or at least I was holding it together enough to not warrant them believing me. Not that I’m still bitter about that! :smile:
