Depends what is low standards???
If I start getting into active life and living the way I want I will have many friends in no time.
That never got me anywhere. I settled for the guy who had to respect for me and ended up being more miserable than I was when I was single. I would much rather be single.

It’s kind of a poem to myself. My standards are too high. They’re impossibly high. But like @Ninjastar said, I’d rather be in my own than lower them.

If they’re impossibly high maybe lower them a little but not too much. Like I’m not gonna date the girl in the coffee thread that I don’t feel like reading…I think my standards are fair though. But if I was only looking for a super model I would consider lowering them. I’ve always had a thing for “average looking” girls. Of course I like the prettiest ones the most in an ideal world but find I like the personality more if they’re a bit more humble, and looks effect humility in a lot of women.
