A Poem: Losing

I used to hate
Losing
Then I got used
To it.

Did you learn anything salvageable when you lose?

Maybe that’s something, maybe that’s the lesson…

There is a lot of talk from the successful folk of the world that go on about how losing is a part of success.

Most people don’t try because they are afraid to lose. It really depends on how you define loss. Simply failing doesn’t necessarily mean loss… I’d suppose failing is more similar to wasting something not necessarily losing. The relation… success is measured in gains… failing to succeed is then a failure to make gains. But failing to make gains does not imply actually losing anything.

Learning how to fail gracefully can make one less afraid of it… all the while lessons are learned throughout both failing and succeeding… therefore gains are actually always made and nothing is lost.

Therefore it is always worth the effort if opportunity arises that doesn’t instigate jeopardy.

Hope you are having a good one @everhopeful

I kind of think that I am winning right now, in a delusional, unusual beliefs sort of way. :upside_down_face:
