So I just came back from a 2nd interview in a graphic design company. They said they will send me an offer. 8 hours shifts…won’t be able to smoke really. I’m quite worried actually. Tomorrow I am seeing my psychiatrist - she wants me to take the injection more often.
Anyways, if I start there I will buy nicotine gums maybe

Let’s see if I will last. 8 hours is a lot. Tomorrow I have another interview and I want to ask if I can start half time for 1-2 months
I was thinking how much better our lives would have been if there was compassion in society about our condition. If I could tell my employer that I have schizophrenia and I have to take it easier. And if they really cared and wanted to help.
People aren’t accommodating to any type of medical condition. I lost out on a job that I would have done so well at, and that would have worked well for me too, and all because I disclosed that I left my last two jobs for medical reasons. I was told that I was “easily the second choice” but for my work history. I killed that interview and walked away so excited, just knowing that I had done a great job. I didn’t think they would hold the medical stuff against me. I didn’t even tell them about the sza, just other medical stuff. They really lost out. I would have been a great worker, and it was a small, quiet, low-stress atmosphere that only needed someone 2 days a week. I could have handled that. I would have been so loyal and hard working, and I believed in their cause (it was at a church).
