A little paranoia is normal

The key word is “little”. You can’t trust everyone. But you have to accept that people around you in public are not all on your side. But they are not all against you either. Dennis Miller once said that, “There is a huge pool of ill will out there”. I agree. People want you to feel as bad as them even if they don’t realize it. It’s almost impossible to stay above it. If you cross someone he/she will make you feel bad. So leave everyone alone.

before I screwed up with sz I used to find that you can build an insulated world of good will if you yourself exhibit good will in a large amount.

too bad I got hit with sz. that world crumbled fast.

From 1990-95 I lived in the big city. On one of the worst streets in town. I went downtown almost every day with very little fear. Now I live in a calm, affluent safe city. And I’m afraid to walk a hundred feet to get my mail. There’s some kind of irony there.

nick. don’t be overwhelmed by the ‘hotshots’ in the nice neighborhoods.

many of them have people with mi in their families and sometimes instead of increasing understanding it increases their frustrations…
