When I came back to the apartments yesterday at about 2:00 am yesterday my key wouldn’t work, so I banged on the door. No one answered the door. At the time I thought they were gone. So I went downstairs and knocked on that door, and this super nice girl let me in so I could sleep in an unoccupied apartment. What a relief. It was cold outside. I guess if the girl downstairs hadn’t let me in I could have walked a little way and banged on the single guys’ apartment, but that didn’t become necessary. When I was sleeping in the squad bay in the army, whenever someone came back late and knocked on the door, everybody in the squad bay would be really slow getting up and answering the door. One time they were doing that to me, and I climbed out a window, handwalked on the rain gutter to their window, and kicked in their window. I was very drunk. I was lucky I didn’t get badly cut. The amazing thing is that I didn’t even get an article 15. Actually, it was really asinine for me to do that. I know it is hard to get out of your warm bed to let someone in at night, but it is probably better just to do it and get it over with.

I thought it would, but it turns out that my room key wouldn’t open the door to the floor. I need to get me one.
