A gyno question

I got my tubes tied after my son was born. Well for as long as I can remember my monthly periods have only lasted 2 or three days. I’m 45. Do y’all think getting my tubes tied has anything to do with it? I’m not complaining but…

I got tubal ligation after my son was born.

Never noticed a change in my periods.

Hmmm. I’m 45. Are you a lot younger than me? Maybe it’s my meds. Either way I’m not complaining.

I’m 36.

You can ask your doctor if it’s your meds,

But periods kind of change when we get older.

Mine is already much lighter than it was in my twenties and early thirties.

My tubes are tied and I didn’t notice a difference. But it’s also pretty common for your cycle to change after a pregnancy.

I always had an irregular and heavy period. Then I was on an IUD for 4 years, and did not have a period in that time. Then I got my tubes tied and removed the IUD. Now, my period is regular and not as heavy.

Being on risperdal has made mine stop

Risperdal pills made my cycle stop completely. Risperdal Consta shots made my periods start up again. And my periods would be extremely heavy for seven full days. Yes it was hell. Menopause set me free.
