A guy working as a receptionist

The new receptionist at my psychiatric care provider is a guy named Billy. It’s the first time a male has done the job. My new PCP is a nurse practitioner named Anthony. This seems to be the week for men employed in traditional female jobs. How do you feel about that?

I think if they can do the job, it doesn’t matter who they are. Equal opportunity employer. :turkey::turkey::turkey:

I’ve had a Male nurse give me an injection for years. I actually liked him.

Of course its ok and good to see. Would be nice to see more women in traditional mens roles as well.

Well I’m 60 years old and I remember the days where men were doctors and women were nurses. I really like Anthony. He seems to honestly care about his patients. I’m ok with it. Just not used to it.

Where I work the secretary works in another city and just goes by his initials so the first time I had to email him I just assumed it was a woman and I called him ma’am.

He emailed me back that he was a man and told me to address him as just TP and not sir.

You know what they say when you assume something right?

It’s not a big deal. I mean in the US women are starting to become combat soldiers. Men are becoming bank clerks. Cats are becoming firemen. Dogs are becoming 7-11 pump pee’r oner’s.

My boss is a lady and she’s one of the better bosses I’ve been blessed with. No complaints.

My last boss was hell-spawn. She reigned down horror upon the Earth. Every knee bowed. She beared the insignia: sicks sicks sicks.

They need to put food on the table and gas for the car. If they are hard workers I see no problem with it.

I don’t really think gender roles are what they used to be. I’m generation z (young folk) and no one cares about gender really all that much anymore at least in my circle. If I wanted to wear a dress or change genders my friends wouldn’t bat an eye.

I think it’s great men are finally comfortable enough with their gender to work traditionally female jobs without worrying.
There shouldn’t be a limitation on what jobs you can have based on your gender.

Who do you think does the laundry and the cooking in the army?

It still tends to be rough whan you work in gender role jobs that isn’t normally your genders role

My first psychiatrist was a woman and I loved her. Ever since I left her, all other pdocs were men, unfortunately. I would prefer woman as receptionist

Psychiatrist should be working in bikini or shorts. I leave for the Bahamas.

That’s pretty cool. I’m all for challenging gender roles.

My boss is a woman. It really doesn’t matter, she bugs me and I bug her and once we get off work at 4:00 we have friendly conversations as we walk to our cars. It’s the perfect relationship.
