Lol, I guess you have to take anything you hear on the psych ward with a pinch of salt! Either that or she’s on to something I’m not!

My last psychiatrist used to pronounce it as hay-loperidol… Like she was saying hey to someone called Loperidol

There are reasons people are on the ward. She might be just playing with you.
Im pretty sure the name doesnt mean falling halo… i couldnt find the break down and definition of its parts though… i did learn vets have and might still use it on animals… specifically birds who pull their feathers out…

The two halogen atoms in R 1625 would inspire it’s generic name - haloperidol… and there we go…
