A friend tried to borrow money

This guy is a client of my psych clinic and goes to my AA meeting. The clinic manages his money and they cut his spending money to $19 a week. He already owes me $40 I think, and I’m broke too until May 3rd. He has COPD and still smokes. I had to tell him No.

My power went out last Friday for 13 hours, and the food in my fridge was ruined. I had an unexpected expense.

Keep telling him no. This is the type of person who will latch onto others and drain them.

I don’t know why the clinic has cut his money back, but I probably won’t see the $40 back. $19 a week will just get you three packs of cigarettes.
