I got a phone call this morning.
Based on my age and blood test result baby has a 1 in 52 chance
Im having further tests done on monday. If it comes back as a.posative we will be terminating the pregnancy.
This world is hard enough without having a disability and it just wouldnt be fair on qwertle

Are you having an amniocentesis?
I’ve had it.
Twice.
Word up, they’re not fun.

Its a blood test that is 99% accurate. If its posative i will be refered to have amniocentesis and if thats posative it will be terminated.

It just sucks its this far along. Im currently 13 weeks. I will have to wait a week for the results. Loosing it this far in will be hard.

Don’t go there.
Right now for all you know this is a normal pregnancy.
Relax and cross that bridge when you get to it.

It may be wrong. For exaple, my disabled daughter there were no signs in the labs. But my oldest son there was a false positive. He also has the 1 line in his palm that all people with Down’s have, yet he doesn’t have that.

It’s been about 17 years since my test, so yeah, those are better now.
Wishing you a lot of luck.
