We had a cat same as yours a tabby cat but it was a she. Her name was Sammy and she died over 14 years ago. She was amazing
Aww, that’s the hardest part is losing them. This boy is pretty special. I’ve never met/had a cat like him before. He wants nothing more than to be with us. When I get home from work each day he’s at the door rolling around and meowing cause he’s happy I’m home. He’s just precious. Do you have a cat now @shellys12?
What a cutie!

Oh, excellent, @Hedgehog! You’re attending to your snuggling duties!
My cat has responded to my being home with a brusque sniff and instructions for me to hold up her cat tent (the covers on my bed, with my knees serving as tent poles.)
She finds my tendency to leave the house for extended periods of time to be a glaring character flaw.
Sheba greets me when I come home. She doesn’t like me to leave ad will grab at my ankles when I pick up my purse. Sheba has been extra clingy lately.
I grew up with cats, but we never have cats for long, it’s like i’m cursed. My cat Rikki ran away after he attacked me because my brother brought another cat home. Taz was stolen, we were forced to get rid of smokey. Milo got hit by a car (I hate having my cats outdoors but my dad didn’t listen to me) Angel got cancer. Callie was taken by my father in law and taken to an alley far away and dropped off. That’s why I’ve sworn off ever getting another cat.
I’m sorry, @cbbrown. My parents always let the cats be indoor/outdoor, and cats do like that, but we lost many of them to coyotes. My TC will never go outside, especially living in the mountains.
Your father-in-law needs to be taken to an alley and dropped off. But a safe clean one.
Aww so cute
