Yeah i think 1080p high def is usually good enough for movies and such. 4k doesn’t make a huge difference to me. Even with my huge TV. But I gotta say, when gaming i really enjoy 60 frames per second over lower frame rates. So I prefer a high frame rate over crazy picture quality.
But I dont even know what Im talking about really lol.
My 48inch Samsung OLED TV is awesome. I noticed the difference in picture quality over 1080p or 4K.
My TV is worth it as the Xbox can make proper use of the technology
My monitor is full HD. Thought it was 4k but I misread the name.
Think it has 120hz refresh rate though.
I miss CoD and Apex Legends so much .
I read they don’t do 4k monitors because of heating distribution issues but 120hz refresh is really good, good gaming monitor standard.
HDR is a lot more noticeable than 4k imo
I think my tv has that. I got a Neo Samsung tv
Got some good discount on it
Oh wow! You get it at curry’s? Historically I got my tvs at John Lewis because they had a 5 year no quibble full replacement agreement
I used that once and got an £850 payout
I think they had 5 years there too
Waited for the 2025 model to come out and got the 2024 model cheap
Same as what I did with the laptop I said on other thread
Not at all worried if an older model as most changes are quite iterative these days for tech
Good to know they follow through when there’s an issue!
Yep it was on an old 1080p 3d plasma screen. When it broke (like a week before the 5 year contract expired) they couldn’t replace it. That tech was outdated by that point.
So they gave me a full refund!
That’s a win! ![]()
I paid £850 for a Samsung 48in OLED from Curries and its a bloody good TV. Currently watching The Sopranos on it. I love that show.
Yea, but I still love my 4k Samsung with gran Turismo 7 on PlayStation 5 Pro lol
