It looks really good. If I’m being honest tho…I like it out in the open better. Maybe lightning?

Yeah, I do too. I noticed also that when I changed lighting, I noticed some flaws that needed correction, cause the flaws can be hidden in certain lighting setups.

Overall pretty happy. I’ve been stearing at it too long so hard to judge, but I’m pretty sure it’s not too bad, lol.

Nah bro…it looks great! It just looks even better in the sun :sun_with_face:

Btw… I think the GPU issue solved itself. The fans started kicking on this morning and now it doesn’t throttle the gou as much so I can play games without issue. I wonder why they weren’t coming on at first tho

Great to hear!! The fans weren’t going before?

I thought they were but I think it was just the heat pushing the air out or they were very low. When I tax the GPU the fans are on high speed now!!! It’s still around 80c but it’s not throttling now

Ah ok, seems like it’s running like intended now then… hmm, maybe just a bug?

Did some tweaks to the shape

making cars is hard, i did look at reference but I think I need to study them closer

what’ya think, is it an improvement?

Yea…I like the seams on the wheel wells. Makes me want to try to do one from the ground up too !!!

I think it was the seams that were missing from it, for it to look more natural and familiar…

I always miss some details, but I only had referene pic from one angle, I need to get more angles next time, and actually spend some time on the reference preperation. Honestly I think it’s the negative symptoms from meds that sometimes makes me do a half ass job, it feeds into art and everything. But I need to counter that

I noticed this sounded weird, I can’t blame the meds or negative symptoms lol, I just need to work smarter.

I agree bro. I find myself doing a half ass job when my negs are strong. Just yesterday I was debating if I should ask for a AP decrease so I totally know what your saying man .

I keep tweaking it, the topology is a mess to work with now… think I just need to call it good enough

It looks good man… whenever your satisfied that’s when it’s good enough tho

you’re right, btw do you happen to know what that thing is under the grill? (lowest metal extrusion on the front). I don’t actually know what it’s for, I just saw it in the reference.

I thought that was the bumper lol

Idk…I doubt a truck like that as aerodynamics on the front🤷🏾 maybe channel air flow into the engine???

Also might just be aesthetics

You’re probably right that it’s the bumper, I know VERY little a bout cars lol

this is the car i used for ref
