Lundbeck is also working on drugs that target genetic mutations associated with schizophrenia, they put the arrival of new drugs for this purpose about 10 years out.

I think some better drugs will be available in the next 5 years, but in the meantime, we just gotta take what we do know and make the best of it.

I believe we will live forever so no need to hurry.
In our generation methods will be developed to tackle aging.

Still sooner we get cured the better. Are you into singularity and all @Chess24? I believe if not forever chances that we live a very long life say 150 years are very high.

Remember bio tech is the next boom in silicon valley and this professor is only one guy about whom we have heard. I am positive there are many others about whom we have not heard but they are working on things like this or others which indirectly or directly would be working towards cure.
