$24 for two quarts of oil

For my 2012 Volkswagen Jetta. That’s damned expensive but it’s synthetic oil. The cashier at the auto shop was an old geezer like me and we were talking about how we used to pay $2 or $3 dollars for a quart of oil in the old days.

Why aren’t you buying the 5 qt jugs? You save nearly half.

Still, you kinda got gypped. See attached, Valvoline full synthetic at Walmart $8.98/quart. That’s $17.96 if you buy retail by the quart. If
you buy the 5quart jug, you save a lot, $26.97, that’s $5.39/quart

We just paid $101 for an oil change at Take 5. Usually my husband does it but he didnt feel like it this time. Getting rid of the oil sucks.

For approx. 1.3 million dollars you could make your own. Over time it would pay off.

I didn’t know they had them. I’ll look for them.

I just bought a 5 quart container of oil off of Amazon. You’re right, it’s less than half the price of buying them individually.
