Good for you @san_pedro !

I’m also in remission from Sza for the past 5 years anyway. I still have occasional residual symptoms but they’re not bothersome so they don’t count.

Im on:
Amisulpride 5mg;
Olanzapine 5mg ;
Seroquel 25mg.

Plus I take American Ginsen as anti depressant.

Ok but I guess I was thinking remission meant no meds.

Can I ask what symptoms bothered you the most and how long it took to find the right combo of meds?

It’s hard to say. I’ve been symptom free for 9 years but I 'm still trying different combo to avoid some side effects. What symptoms bothered me most? Well, I hate hullucinations most. Besides that I can’t bear depressions. A lot of AP caused depression to me such as Risperidone, Invega and Olanzapine. That’s why I only take low dose of Olanzapine. Amisulpride makes me happy but it gives me high prolactin levels. That’s why I haven’t quit Amisulpride completely as I need it to counteract the depressive effects of Olanzapine.

It’s very unusual that a full blown sz/sza can ever go without meds and remain asymptomatic.

Sorry for the double negatives. I can’t understand them either.

We must believe we can heal. I believe :slight_smile:
