Is this a symptom of schizophrenia?
depends on situation. when writing code, yeah.
I like placing my food in order before eating it
Oh, are you serious?
I’m in the shipping industry. I create order out of disorder all day long. It really IS fulfilling to me, and suits my schizophrenia to a tee!
I’d never work in a field where if I had a bad day someone got hurt. These days, if I screw up some dude just gets his parcel late. And I have never taken my job home with me which is nice. Once I leave the building, the next guy takes over and I’m free.
Perfect match for my affliction!
Yup! But I think it’s part of my obsessive compulsive actions.
I love to hear that, Patrick.
I think working in a Mailroom is a perfect job for an Sz type…
You create order out of confusion…don’t deal with the public…you don’t take your work home with you…quite often you are working on your own or with only one or two other people…good money…
Lots of benefits to this type of employment for people who share our schizophrenia.
This will be in my bookmark. I have never thought about that. Thank you for sharing.
