Woman, 27, who has schizophrenia launches clothing line to help get mentally ill people stay off New York City streets

Michelle Hammer, who lives in Astoria, Queens, was diagnosed with schizophrenia when she was 22

Her clothing company, Schizophrenic.NYC, sells T-shirts and tank tops with her own colorful Rorschach Test designs

Some profits are donated to organizations that benefit New York’s mentally ill homeless population

Michelle says if she wasn’t lucky enough to have supportive family and friends, she could be homeless too

**Wow-I love this! **

Well; that is nice, and it will be helpful for those with PTSD-hammered sz who are able (on occasion) to trust those who run the shelters. But getting paranoid sz off the streets is not going to be as easy as funding shelters if most sz pts are afraid of being in any enclosed space with anyone else.

LOVE THIS SO MUCH!
