Most of the time it’s because there has been a previous thread about the same subject.
That’s just my guess.
the diff categories have diff time limits after the last post… some never close… some the mods close for diff reasons…

The lounge ones all close a few days after the last post. If you don’t want it to close don’t post in lounge.

Most antipsychiatry and med reduction / quitting posts get shut down early I’ve noticed.
That’s because they get unhealthy and tend to encourage people to quit medications they need to function. We can’t stop people from making bad decisions, but we will do everything in our power to make sure they don’t take others down with them.
