My favorite song is All American Boy by Steve Grand
Among bands that are still in existence, my favorite is definitely Mushroomhead. Hell, I have their logo tattooed on me, that’s just how much I like their music. For the other four I currently would say, in no particular order: Blue Felix, 5FDP (even though they seem to be on the decline), Avatar, and I suppose Righteous Vendetta. Those are the other bands I’m most into at the moment, anyway. Being little known does not translate to inferior, in my opinion. In terms of metal, being mainstream often indicates a weaker sound, going a little soft to attract a bigger audience. Tool would be a notable exception, an amazing metal band that had a large audience, despite never selling out. I would put them in my top five, since I’ve heard they’re working on a new album, but yeah, that might just be rumor.
