I stopped taking my zyprexa 6 weeks ago cause i was tired of the side effects with sleeping 11 hours a night and still feeling exhausted. But now my psychiatrist wants me on Invega which im guessing is going to have some type of side effects with little relief like all the drugs in existence.
I’m on invega. It’s better than zyprexa as far as the sleepies go. And the munchies. Although I have still gained a hell of a lot of weight on it.
It’s not too bad but I get breakthrough symptoms and it took a long time to have any effect on me but I was put on it when I was floridly psychotic.

I’m on 12mg by the way, I’m looking to reduce in the new year. Mr pdoc seems ok with reducing my meds. I call them fuses because they look like little ceramic fuses.
12 mg is quite high. I was completely overcome with auditory hallucinations when I was put on 6mg and I’ve noticed significant improvement over 2-3 years with invega
