Ssri antidepressants don't make me happy

I have been on Citalopram, Fluoxetine, Fluvoxamine, Paroxetine and Sertraline, over the last 12 years and none of them actually make me feel happy, and they cause sexual dysfunction, GI upset and make me lose interest in doing things.
They do make my mood more stable, help with anxiety and obsessive thoughts, and I sleep much better especially when taken with Trazodone.

They are not meant to make you happy, but rather to make you not care about being unhappy.

My doc tried me on fluvoxamine a while back, said it would help my body absorb my clozapine better. All it did was make me more tired. Years ago I tried fluoxetine. The only effect was, every night before bed, I would laugh one time. ■■■■ was worthless.

They don’t make me happy either. They make me numb like apathetic. I took Seroquel with them. Lexpro was the Seri I took also took paxil a long time ago.I like snris though. Either that or the Vraylar bass helped my mood. It does sound like ssris are helping you a lot.
