I think that is a pretty bad decision by these employers. Not everyone wants to be public on the internet. Not everyone wants people to find them on Facebook or Instagram. The fact that someone is not sharing insignificant or personal details about themselves online does not mean they can’t be great employees. This selectiveness could actually mean that they are better employees.
