I’ve always thought depression feels like drowning. Darkness and cold all around with just a dim light overhead. Hard to move until you just float, not caring anymore.
Yes, it’s like the sea floor. Heavy and alone.

My worst depression is more like being submerged in lava than water. Intense pain…
