Lithium 300 ER Twice per day (BID)

I am schizoaffective with bipolar subtype

40 mg latuda
100 mg zoloft
300 lithium as of today, just took first dose, 300 more in 12 hours
20 mg prilosec

what are your thoughts and experiences with Lithium people? Good? Bad? Too drowsy? Feeling nothing, emptiness? Suicidal? Need to know, thanks in advance!

Ive been on lithium for awhile, has a good success rate i believe.

Im suicidal but i dont believe its from the lithium.

I burnt my anti depressants which i think is from something not really working with the AP

For bi polish, its the most stable drug and go to for docs

So far, i feel

Less manic (Hypo manic --> now hypo hypo manic)
Clear thoughts
and the best of all … THE VOICES IN MY HEAD HAVE BEEN REDUCED CONSIDERABLY!!!

Just takes getting on the right combination! Hope this give people hope, because there IS HOPE!!!

I was on Lithium for years and years. It had absolutely no positive effects on me. Didn’t affect my mood one iota. But, sure made my hands tremor a lot. Interfered with my handwriting and nursing skills on the job quite markedly. It was very noticeable to my co workers and patients. Very embarrassing.
