Is it just me or is it a state by state problem? I’m new with sz, I was dx’d as bipolar but I’m pretty sure it’s SZ, i think I’ve known it for about a year now (I’m 26). Now that I’ve gottwn dissability, I’m having a problem trying out which medication is best for me, because the insurance I have under Disability (I think it’s Medicaid?) only covered older antipsychotics. Aripriprozale/abilify for example is only covered in shot form. Do people have much luck getting ap’s that are covered specifically approved? Currently on 39mg Invega Sustenna and I have WAY too many side effects- weight gain and cognition issues included. What have your experience been?
