Killed more than 20

well I woke up near midnight to write.
guess who was on the other side of my bed?

or who were…

tomorrow, I’m going to borrow my mom’s broom and sweep the place. I think the dustballs and dirt might be attracting them. also, I discovered a new type of insect. I wanted to take a picture, but I was in shock and it crawled under the furniture.

well, I’m gonna sweep the floor now. see ya later, alligators.

I’ve not seen ants near the basement’s kitchen.
so I guess they are all just chilling in my room.
but not for long!

Buy some borax, mix with sugar in a bowl That will kill the colony.

well I woke up and it seems my sweeping and wiping did the trick.

well, the ants have made it clear that they really don’t want me eating in my room.

I’m still storing my food in there, for emergencies. but I’m just not going to harbor any opened food or dishes.

after shopping at keyfood, I was eyeing this shy cutie until I got her to chill at my place for free. :sunglasses:

check her out:

also, does anyone know if a cup of water would attract ants?
I really want to have water in my room, at least.
I know they’re not attracted to soap water.

Is that a cockroach, or some sort of beetle?

hoping it’s just a beetle. cockroaches are not good.

once I clean my mat, (hopefully soon,) I won’t have to deal with any insects.
I’ve cleaned everything except my mat.

well, I finally bought a scrub brush from DollarTree and cleaned my mat. no more flies or ants!

I think I won the war, even though the ants were here first.
