I would say the best thing about being a mod is that I no longer feel guilty for the amount of time I spend on here. I’m not just messing around on the internet, I’m volunteering! That’s how I justify it to myself, anyways.
The worst thing is when someone is in serious crisis, and then suddenly goes nonresponsive for a few days or weeks. I spend the whole time terrified that something bad happened to them.
My turn to ask a question, I guess. @flameoftherhine, if you could be any breakfast cereal, which one would you be and why?
@Ninjastar for some reason I feel like I will be judged harshly by your understudy in slang @sirBoring as he is one bad cereal killing man… but I would be the peanut butter version of captain crunch… captain crunch is the cereal that bites back… some how it can shred the roof of your mouth but you will try it again the next day… so captain peanut butter crunch cereal…due to its blood thirsty biting…the mouth that bites…and its voodoo powers to trick you into trying it again…
I think I try to be as kind as possible though sometimes fail due to being human and flawed.
I handle offensive posts better since being on regular medication. It was quite often a different story before that, when I could be quite emotionally reactive.
As for opinions sometimes I express them better than others. I do find it hard to put myself in other people’s shoes when it comes to taking on board contrary opinions/viewpoints, but try not to be too aggressive or confrontational about it.
@flameoftherhine I cannot answer that question, I don’t have a favourite and I don’t want to put a target on my back, lol.
Also @flameoftherhine you like to cook. Do you ever eat takeaway or fast food? If so, what is your favourite?
@firemonkey you post a lot of news stories and I feel everyone is grateful for that. Do you ever feel like posting a news story unrelated to schizophrenia? A general interest story?
@Plumber I’m glad you’re back on the scene. Where have you been? What adventures have you gotten up to?
Oh further question @firemonkey … Do you keep up with the politics of other countries? Like Australia? Or are you mainly concerned with politics in the UK?
@everhopeful are you ever inspired to write poetry about another member? Where do you find your inspiration for your poetry (which I love, by the way)?
Hey turtle! Thanks for asking. Most of the time, I just write about what’s on my mind that evening. A lot of the time it helps me get through my “issue of the day”. I’d hesitate to write about another forum member in case it was taken the wrong way.
