Increased the Risperdal dose

Went to see my pdoc yesterday, I told her about my mood instability and the delusional thoughts that are connected to them.
She told me to go up to 3 mg of the Risperdal and if my moods are still unstable after a couple of weeks to move up to 4 mg
if necessary.
I should of never lowered the dose to a sub therapeutic dose months ago.
Now it seems that the Risperdal has lost some of its effectiveness - I need to go on the higher doses, hopefully it works

@Wave you know your meds so well that I’m sure you’ll get something sorted out together with your pdoc. It is really not nice to suffer unnecessary. I wish you get well very soon.

I’m thinking the same thing with regards to my amisulpride - it used to work on 400mg, then it had to be pushed up to 600mg, and now in the last month the 600mg had to be combined with a low dose of olanzapine to work. I hope things don’t get worse from here!
