I used to drink a lot of fruit juice, but my doctor told me it puts you at risk for diabetes because it has so much sugar. So I’m trying to eat more whole fruit and whole vegetables.

I have not eaten much fruit and veg since my wife died. Eating mainly ready meals you don’t get much veg. I get an online shop every 10-12 days or so. A combination of lack of motivation,limited cooking skills, and the fact they tend to give you fresh ingredients with a short use by date, means I can’t do many self prepared meals a week.
When it comes to fruit I once bought quite a lot to cover about 10 days , but after a few days a lot of it went manky .

I just buy the fresh juices in bottles such as the Innocent brand ones. They’re pasteurised and minimally processed but they do the trick and can be stored in the fridge for a month or so.
