Documentary thread

The first documentary I watched as a child was Carl Sagan’s Cosmos.
Still one of my favorites.

Planet Ant: Life Inside the Colony
Entomology fascinates me. Fire ants love me.

This is a great doc on sustainable housing. Very inspiring. I was accepted to The Earthship Biotecture Academy but the timing has never been right. One of my long term goals is to finish CAD and modeling courses, attend The Academy and work within the sustainable housing/green architecture field.

Here is the documentary with Dan Aykroyd on UFOs someone here was talking about a while back. Believer or not, it’s entertaining.

Have I mentioned that I like cats?

I love cats as well. I miss my cat Billie (Holiday).
BTW, that link was broken but I found it elsewhere.

Anything by Louis Theroux (Spelling?) Check him out. And Werner Herzog , especially Grizzly Man ; Genre defining right there

Good one here. Long, but split into 3 parts.

A series of films about how humans have been colonized by the machines they have built. Although we don’t realize it, the way we see everything in the world today is through the eyes of the computers. It claims that computers have failed to liberate us and instead have distorted and simplified our view of the world around us.
