What is the best book on schizophrenia?
Are you talking about educational books, or biographies of people who have had schizophrenia?
I like these for educational books:

’ miffy- and friends at the art gallery '…lol
awesome book.
take care
Educational, scientific books written by professionals to enhance awareness. I think everybody should learn more about the illness and how to confront it. I have finished reading surviving schizophrenia, it was very helpful, and now as I intend to resume my career I am searching for a solid background thru this searching endeavor, thanks for your help. Which one you mostly recommend?
Brilliant sense of humor, I have noticed that about you and your space ship, how is its condition, if it needs repair or something let me know. Lol, take care

I think the brain should have been drawn empty instead. Thanks anyway
I would agree with SzAdmin with his choice of Schizophrenia for Dummies.I have read several educational books on schizophrenia (and several biography’s) and I found that SZ for Dummies is the easiest to read and understand and covers about every aspect of basic schizophrenia. It explains everything in relatively simple terms and also goes into detail. it coves medications, positive and negative symptoms, prognosis, etc.

Schizophrenia for Dummies was an excellent book - easy to digest and chock full of information, its my favorite
Schizophrenia / Peter B. Jones ; Peter F. Buckley ; with contributions by David Kessler. 2006.
I thought the autobigrapht by Anthony scott “Is that me!” was a great read. It thought me how to adjust from middle class failure to living life on a housing project.
I think you might like this book. Its by a woman who studied neuroscience in college and was academically very successful - but then developed schizophrenia. She’s done some writing for us here on the site. You can also see our list of recommended books on many pages of our web site - see here, just scroll down on this page:

and here is the book by the neuroscientist who developed schizophrenia - and she’s now married and doing quite well.
There’s two others I really liked, I Think I Scared Her: Growing Up With Psychosis by Brooke Katz & When the Music’s Over by Ross David Burke
