I don’t have an opinion on this nor do i want to join the military just thought i’d post this, since this is a change for society.

Possibly controversial opinion but I think that’s kind of dangerous. I don’t think it’s a good idea for people w mental illness to be in combat positions in the military…stress is the most common aggravator of symptoms and it’s hugely stressful…even if you’ve been stable on meds for years you can become destabilized by large stressors…even people without mental health problems who go into the military leave combat with depression, ptsd, have high suicide rates, etc…

If it’s for non combat roles then I totally understand.
