A lot of porn finishes with the degradation of women. That’s … horrible. I don’t think that what you see in porn is representative of sex between a couple that cares for each other.

The best way to resolve imagery in your mind is to think about them after you viewed them until you have learned from them
My deceased son was addicted to porn when he was alive and I’m sorry to say that I did not discourage it. He watched it in my home, under my roof. His dad was addicted to porn too and we used it in our marriage from the time I was 17 years old, so, I just thought it was a normal thing that men did, and that men couldn’t be without it. I have since learned that this is wrong. I feel very guilty today because of it. I feel that somehow, I should have known better.
If you are addicted to it you’ll not be able to control yourself, to use your time as you wish and potentially helping many people. 
Are you doing talk therapy by any chance? Maybe you could hash it out with a counselor. I find it hard to do other things and try not to think about my addiction which really just fuels the need for more addicting behavior.
Maybe get rid of the screen or materials and avoid going to places that sell those items. Drastic I know but plausible.

I limit to six times a week now. I was at once a week but if you can cut it down from A large number to six times a week I think you’re good. I’m still addicted but it’s an addiction that can be curbed to a healthy amount rather than abstinence

I kinda need porn cos the meds destroy my libido. TBH I kinda think guys who are influenced by porn to be derogatory to women are most likely gonna be that way either way. There is plenty of good, respectful porn.

I.see u belive in God. Im glad. You dont have to quit smoking to believe in God. I for one am not a christian but i belive in God. You can believe in God and live in hell at the same time.
When one gets to my age, this stuff often just falls off.
